A Little About Me

Originally from upstate New York, my family and I relocated to Cary, NC in 1997. I am married and a mother of three wonderful boys.  In the 16+ years that we have lived in Cary, I have adopted a love and passion for both the area and real estate. I reside in the West Cary area and have a second property on Ocean Isle Beach. As a result of my various personal moves and real estate decisions, I performed countless hours of research pertaining to the local real estate markets. I also found myself almost daily touring various geographic areas and subdivisions, walking through developing areas and new homes and attending open houses for existing homes. The best part of all is that I truly enjoyed doing this. It was not a chore, but rather a passion

Professionally Speaking

Today, I have turned that passion and love of the local area into a profession that I hold near and dear to my heart. As a professional and licensed real estate broker, I chose to join the Keller Williams Realty team in Cary, which allows me to offer full-service real estate offerings to my clients. I pride myself in being highly educated as it pertains to the local real estate market. In addition to real estate, I previously worked in the mortgage lending arena as an underwriter. This experience has helped me gain a thorough understanding of the real estate procurement process from the initial search and discovery process through loan attainment and closing. In order to bring a better level of service to my clients, my husband acquired his license in 2008 and we formed a team. He primarily works as office manager, listing coordinator, marketing extraordinaire and technology guru.

Client First Philosophy

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional – integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.

I have a first hand understanding of what it takes to help individuals and families through the often trying time of buying and selling real estate. That said, in my experience as a real estate professional, I’ve also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs. When it comes to dealing with my clients, I live and die by two rules:

Rule #1: My clients always come first

Rule #2: If for some odd reason a client’s expectations are not being met, re-read rule #1.
My “client first” philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I’ve found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I’ve always done, only much more quickly, efficiently and with a greater reach. They’ve also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.

A Little About Me

Like my wife, Michelle, I too am originally from upstate NY, however, I have lived in North Carolina for all but three years since 1990. My wife and I have always had an interest in real estate. This interest became a passion in 2004 as we were researching building our second home in Cary. In 2007, this passion led Michelle to enter the world of real estate as a full-time broker. 2008 presented a unique challenge for us – Michelle was pregnant with our third child and at the same time, she was busier than ever ramping up her real estate career. As a result, we decided that we would grow the family business by having me attain my broker’s license and join her as a team member. I share Michelle’s “Client First Philosophy” and strive to uphold the high standards she sets for our business.

I became a fully licensed real estate broker in mid-2008 and have represented clients as both a buyers and sellers agent in order to successfully negotiate and close real estate transactions. One of my main focuses while working with Michelle has been to focus on technology and back office operations. Today’s real estate market stresses the use of technological and electronic means to successfully represent our clients.
