Weldon Ridge is a neighboring community to the Cary Park subdivision located in the NW section of Cary, NC. This community has been extremely popular with homebuyers since first being developed in 2005. In fact, it was one of the few communities that continued to thrive during the housing recession between 2008 and 2012. The entire neighborhood was developed by Orleans Homebuilders (now Taylor Morrison Home Builders), a large regional builder who is active up and down the east coast. The community features a wonderful pool and clubhouse, easy access to all Cary Park amenities and shopping and is just a short walk or bike ride away from a primary access point to the popular and scenic American Tobacco Trail.
There are four somewhat distinct neighborhoods that comprise Weldon Ridge:
- The Estates – Single family homes in The Estates are the largest homes, on the largest lots and with the most builder amenities of all the neighborhoods in Weldon Ridge. Homes are generally 3500 plus square feet in size and as of 2017 start in the $500’s up to the high $700’s.
- The Park – Single family homes in The Park directly border the Cary Park and/or Greystone subdivisions, are smaller in size when compared to The Estates and with slightly less builder amenities. That said, these are beautiful homes – many with brick fronts, basements, gourmet kitchens and more. As of 2017, prices range from the $400’s to the mid-$500’s
- The Arbor – Single family homes in The Arbor are the smallest in the community, but are still generous in size (2700 sq. ft. up to the mid-3000 sq. ft. range). Pricing is attractive as homes start in the $300’s and range up to the mid-$400’s.
- The Grove – This is the town home section of Weldon Ridge. These townhouses are spec’d out beautifully and offer gorgeous amenities inside and out. Homes come in 3,4 and 5 bedroom plans and sell from the mid $200’s to the mid $300’s.
